  • What Is Data Recovery?

Simply put, data recovery is a system of processes used to recover lost data from a variety of sources, including hard disk drives, servers, or tape backups and Performed by trained experts.

  • What happens if I don’t get my data back?

  • How long does data retrieval take?

Each project is different and requires unique processes and timelines. Upon receipt of damaged media, East Africa Recovery Experts will provide a report within one business day(24hrs) outlining the specifics required to perform the data recovery. While some projects may require several days, even weeks, about 75% of all jobs have a turnaround time of less than 48 hours.

  • Will I be contacted before any major work is done?

When your data is in the hands of someone you should be notified about any and all recovery costs. East Africa Recovery Experts will contact you with a firm cost quotation after the media has been diagnosed. If you decide to proceed with the recovery, we will assign your project to the next available engineer.

  • In what format is retrieved data delivered?

East Africa Recovery Experts will return data with the same file names, in the same data type, with the same characteristics, identifiers and in the same structure and location as before the failure.

  • How my data be returned to me?

Not all companies give you a choice for return media. Make sure you can receive your data on any media. East Africa Recovery Experts can return your data on a CD, DVD, Hard drive or even your own media if you request!

  • My documents contain confidential information. How can I be sure they’ll remain confidential?

Users can save hours, days and weeks of downtime by minimizing their data loss through routine backups. A good anti-virus software package, updated regularly, will also offer some protection against data loss.
